We are always looking for volunteers to help us promote CCNC's endeavors. We are currently looking for volunteers interested in joining the Website Communication Team. It is a great experience and you will learn much valuable computer skills.
They will be managing all aspects of website communication including, but not limited to, creating advertisements, writing articles, photography, graphics editing and website maintenance. Job Description:
Proofreaders will proofread news articles sent to them via email, outlining grammatical/spelling errors and ensuring writing is good for publishing. We are looking for English proofreaders and Chinese proofreaders (able to read traditional OR simplified).
Skill requirement:
- An eye for detail
- Exceptional writing, spelling and grammar skills
- Knowledge of using a word processing software
- Excellent communication skills and able to work independently

- Must have access to the internet
Job Description:
Writers will write reviews for the latest music, movies and TV series reviews from either Western entertainment or Asian entertainment, write event summaries and write advertisements for future events. The writer must right a proposal for a topic idea and submit it to the web editor for approval. Once approved, the writer may proceed writing and upon completion, must submit it back to the web editor for editing and publishing. We are looking for both English writers and Chinese writers (able to right traditional OR simplified characters).

- Exceptional writing skills
- Able to work independently
- Creative

Job Description:
The web maintenance will be formatting and uploading web content onto the website, following the standard website format guidelines. They must ensure that website is in working order and materials are kept up-to-date. They will also upload pictures to a central server. They will have regular communication through email with the web editor to ensure website is maintained.
Skill requirement:
- Familiar with HTML
- Ability to use Dreamweaver or other website editing software
- Ability to use an FTP uploading software
- Able to work independently
- Able to work quickly and efficiently

- Have their own website editing and FTP uploading software preferred

Photographers/Event Researcher
Job Description:
Attend CCNC events and London Chinese School events and take photographs and inform web editor of upcoming events.
Skill requirement:
- Know how to upload/send digital photos
- Know how to a digital camera
- Able to attend CCNC events
- Attend London Chinese School
- Inform Web Editor of upcoming events in London Chinese School (such as bake sales, yearbook sales etc)
Other Information:
- Graphic editing skills an asset
- Must be able to communicate via email
- Must own a digital camera
